Querémosvos comunicar que dende o Departamento de Filoloxía Galega e Latina da Universidade de Vigo acabamos de poñer a andar o LOCUS CRITICUS (https://webs.uvigo.es/locuscriticus/), un foro ou plataforma dixital de debate sobre cuestións de crítica textual centradas na lírica medieval. Coidamos que esta é unha iniciativa útil que pode facilitar a comunicación entre os membros do noso eido científico (sobre todo na edición de textos trobadorescos), así como actualizar e axilizar a reflexión e o debate sobre aspectos problemáticos derivados da lectura e interpretación das fontes manuscritas.
Estades todos/as convidados/as a coñecer e participar en LOCUS CRITICUS. Agradecémosvos de antemán todas as críticas, comentarios e suxestións que nos fagades chegar e que, certamente, contribuirán á súa mellora.

Le groupe ??? et le réseau Gramm-R organisent un colloque international consacré au thème de la variation en langue. L’ambition de ce colloque est d’inciter au débat interdisciplinaire par le biais de communications qui aborderont des problématiques aussi diverses que :

-Le rapport oral / écrit
-Le rapport standard / dialectes
-Le rapport micro-système / macro-système
-Les continuités et discontinuités dans l’évolution des langues romanes
-La transition du latin aux langues romanes
-Les paramètres de la variabilité

Le colloque accueillera en son sein un atelier consacré à l’évolution diachronique des systèmes de cohésion du français, en ciblant la catégorie de la conjonction : Diachronie des conjonctions. Cet atelier, organisé par Annie Bertin et Hava Bat-Zeev Shyldkrot, prendra principalement pour champ d’observation les périodes du moyen français (14e-15e siècles) et du français pré-classique (16e- début 17e siècles).

En réunissant des spécialistes ?uvrant dans différentes branches de la linguistique – que ce soit la linguistique historique, la dialectologie, la sociolinguistique, la stylistique, la pragmatique – afin qu’ils échangent leur expertise, nous espérons voir émerger de nouvelles perspectives, qui pourront féconder les recherches sur la dynamique et le changement en langues.

Meeting Description:

Going Romance is the European conference series that focuses on Romance
languages from the perspective of current linguistic theorizing. In the two
decades of its existence, it has developed into the major European discussion
forum for theoretically relevant research on Romance languages where current
ideas about language in general and about Romance languages in particular are
discussed. This year, for the first time, the conference is really going Romance
and will be held in Nice, France. Organized by the Radboud University Nijmegen
and the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis, it will take place in the Maison du
Séminaire, 3-5 December 2009.

This year’s invited speakers will be:

-Donca Steriade
-Luigi Rizzi
-Anne Zribi-Hertz

The conference lasts for three days, with two days for the general session.
Slots for invited speakers are 60 minutes (45+15), while slots for selected
speakers are 40 minutes (30+10). The conference includes a workshop on
Diachrony of the Romance Languages on December 5th.

Call for Papers

As every year, the third day of the conference is devoted to a special
workshop. This year, the workshop focuses on linguistic change in relation to
linguistic theory. We invite abstracts for 40 minute presentations (30 minute talk,
10 minute discussion).

In order to submit, please upload an anonymous abstract on the Going Romance
2009 page of Easy Abstracts (http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/goingromance09)
by the 1st of September 2009, indicating whether your abstract is intended for
the main session or the special workshop.  You will be notified of acceptance
by October 1st, 2009.

The conference will be held in the Maison du Séminaire (http://www.maison-
seminaire-nice.cote.azur.fr), where rooms have been reserved at a group rate
for Going Romance 2009.

Following the success of the international Conference of Student researchers in Language Didactics and Linguistics (CEDIL’ 06), the young researchers of the LIDILEM laboratory would like invite participants to the second conference with CEDIL2010, which will be held at the Stendhal University of Grenoble, France in early July 2010.

Call for Papers:

In line with the areas of research of our laboratory, this multidisciplinary conference’s objective is to allow the community of PhD students and young researchers to submit their research topics in the fields of language, its teaching and or literacy, psychology, education sciences, ethnology, neurolinguistics, human-machine communication. Submissions should be in the following research themes:
-Linguistics
-Psycholinguistics
-Linguistic development
-Sociolinguistics
-Multilingualism
-Language didactics,
-Natural Language Processing (NLP).

These three days will be an opportunity for young researchers to collaborate on various issues: thus reporting on the state of the art in their own domains. The conference also aims to combine the varied knowledge and the presentation of new research perspectives. CEDIL2010 will also be facilitating networking and interdisciplinary exchanges between researchers in scientific communities around the works presented.

Modalities of Communication:

Presentations and posters of young researchers will follow one another and will
be accompanied with plenary conferences of renowned lecturers and researchers
stemming from different disciplinary fields. Communication in workshops will
allot 20 minutes of presentation and an additional 10 minutes for discussion.

The abstracts accepted for oral or displayed may be published in the form of
articles (8-10 pages) to be submitted before 1 June 2010. Articles will be
subjected and selected to a proofreading committee with the possibility of being

La réception des troubadours. XIIIe-XXIe siècle

Le projet de recherches «La réception des troubadours. XIIIe-XXIe siècle» a pour objectif de mieux cerner l’héritage, l’impact et   l’image des
troubadours occitans depuis le XIIIe siècle jusqu’à nos jours. Il rassemble sept universités du Sud de la France et de Catalogne et se décline en une série de colloques organisés entre 2010 et 2014 par chacune d’entre elles.

La présentation des colloques et les informations relatives aux propositions de contributions figurent sur le site de l’AIEO
(www.aieo.org).

Le premier de ces colloques se déroulera à Montpellier les 1er et 2 avril 2010 : « Les troubadours dans le texte occitan du XXe siècle. Modèles,
références, citations ».

Os días 12, 13 e 14 de abril de 2010 celebrarase no King’s College London o Congreso anual da Asociación de Hispanistas de Gran Bretaña
e Irlanda (AHGBI). Aquelas persoas interesadas en participar no panel de Estudos Galegos poden xa enviarme, na miña condición de organizador
do panel, a súa proposta de comunicación, na cal debe figurar un título e resumo de 150-200 palabras. As comunicacións deberán ter unha
duración de entre 25 e 30 minutos, estar redactadas en galego, en inglés ou castelán, e poderán versar sobre calquera área de investigación
relacionada cos Estudos Galegos.

A data límite para enviarme as propostas é o 15 de agosto de 2009, de xeito que resulte posíbel organizar as comunicacións seleccionadas nun
panel ou paneis, e remitir esta proposta á Secretaría do Congreso da AHGBI antes do 5 de setembro de 2009.

Se alguén non é membro da AHGBI pero ten interese en participar, deberá porse en contacto comigo para que eu poida facer as consultas
necesarias coa organización do Congreso, tendo en conta que en anos pasados houbo persoas que si participaron nos paneis de Estudos
Galegos malia non ser membros. Existe a posibilidade de solicitar unha axuda para contribuír a cubrir os gastos dun relator ou relatora invitada.

Travel and Exploration

Andy Beresford and I are organizing sessions for the 2010 International Medieval Conference in Leeds (July 12-15, 2010).  The theme of the congress is «Travel and Exploration.»  In hopes of getting more Hispanists involved in Leeds we would welcome abstracts on journeys literal and metaphorical / religious and secular and the interplay between the two. Paper proposal smust be submitted to the congress organizaers by 31 August 2009 and Sessions by 30 September 2009.  We would like to arrange two to three sessions on this topic.  There is a possibility for publication of articles based on these sessions by CRMS in Durham.  Please send abstracts to me at connie.scarborough@uc.edu or to Andy at a.m.beresford@durham.ac.uk.
